Drum Roll

Three more sleeps to go folks before the fashion circus descend on the streets of W1 which will thus  become the concrete-catwalk for London's fashion glitteratti.
The buzz has begun, as the count down to this seasons 67 shows commences! I must say for the first time in a couple of years I too am getting quite excited about what London's designers will be putting on show this season. Don't get me wrong, I'm always welcoming of a new season but for the last couple of years working in PR took the 'fun' out of the shows, and for the first time in a while I can actually enjoy them from an attendees perspective and not a fashion PR's!
AW is by far my season of choice this makes me even more eager to see where the next season will take our wardrobes.  Although not a hardened follower of trends as such ( I never let the current season trends dictate what I wear) I do take heed and inspiration from my favorite designers collections saluting the trends that suit me or the one's I naturally gravitate towards due to my vintage purchases.
So I am currently working on my fashion week diary as I'll have the pleasure of attending a few shows this season, I'll be bringing you the low down on the AW11 trends as I see them as well as capturing some vintage inspired street style. I'll be posting my exact schedule a little later in the week but for now here are a few key tip offs I've had so far...

The PARTY...

Love magazine's Katie Grand will be teaming up with one of my favorite New York designers, Alexander Wang in honor of the mag's Androgyny Issue, cue (no pun intended) an endless line of fashions finest along great Marlborough street on the 21st....

The ONE to watch...

Ellist Atkinson “is being touted by those in the know as the next It-boy designer” according to Sunday Times Style. Atkinson will be showing under the Fashion East umbrella and describes his signature style as “tough but feminine, sexy yet nonchalant”, he's a womenswear graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and his debut collection has already been snapped up by Browns Focus- watch this space!

The IT MODEL...

The aptly named Arizona Muse (yeah she was actually born Zoe!) is the model of the moment, having already been snapped for the current seasons Prada and YSL campaigns Arizona's been all over the NFW catwalks and boy can she strut! The girls only 20, has a baby boy and fashions finest designes queuing to get her to walk for them, yeah there's no jealousy here... just don't look at her too closely, it really kind of hurts.

Most looking forward to seeing....
