Jenny From The BOX

I literaly squeeled with delight when I picked up last Fridays issue of ES Magazine and The Evening Standard. Why? Because right on the top right hand corner was a shot of Jenny, my very first Bird on a Wire model! I met Jenny through a mutual friend and was gobsmacked by her stunning statuesque appearance upon our first meeting. I'd just set up Bird On A Wire on Asos Marketplace and was furiously emailing friends to help me out with my first shoot. No one was available on the weekend I needed to get it done so my house mate suggested I facebook his fabulous friend Jenny.

Jenny is one of those girls who on first appearences you'd almost love to hate as she just seems to have it all, and she does, but only cause she's worked exceedingly hard for it mind you. The day of our shoot was an icy late November Sunday and we'd only had a few text message conversations before actually meeting in Hackney Wick- our shoot location. She was in her second year of uni and was juggling a hostessing job, DJing as well as being the go to girl for modeling jobs from many of her friends from the creative industries. This girl was busy! In the quick space of the three hours we shot we came up with these lovely shots.

And here she is again the fabulous hostess with the mostess photographed by Steve Schofield in the ladies loos of The Box, Londons theatre of varieties in the heart of the red light distric .You can read her interview with ES's Hannah Nathanson and Lucy Hunter Johnston chatting about the Soho hot spot here.
